Welcome to the Holiday Inn-Campus Area located just minutes from the start and finish line of the 2010 Eau Claire Marathon. All guest rooms include coffee brewers, refrigerators, and microwaves. The hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, game room, and health/fitness center. Holiday Inn provides a complimentary continental breakfast and our Green Mill Restaurant & Bar is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites is approximately six miles from the start and finish line of the 2010 Eau Claire Marathon. How can I identify Eau Claire Marathon staff?
The Eau Claire Marathon staff will wear highly visible shirts, vests, and jackets. All areas staffed by volunteers will have a responsible adult with a cell phone or radio to contact emergency personnel at all times.

Where should I park?
Parking will be provided within and at the Menomonie Street entrance of Carson Park. Shuttles may also be utilized to transport people to and from Carson Park.

Where should I go once I get to Carson Park?
When you get to the park, drop your items off at the gear check station located between the start and finish lines, then make your way to the start line.

Are there police officers at busy intersections?
The Eau Claire police department will be located where the courses cross busy intersections. The police will determine appropriate spots.

Are there water and energy gel stations on the marathon route?
Water and electrolyte drink stations to be located approximately every two miles along both half and full marathon courses. Energy gel will be handed out at two locations along the courses near water stations.

Are there first aid stations on the marathon route?
First aid stations will be clearly marked along the course. There is a minimum of three first aid stations located along the routes.

Are there restrooms on the marathon route?
Portable lavatories are located in Carson Park and approximately every two miles along routes. We will also be utilizing permanent city park lavatories where they are available.

Is there entertainment? How can my group perform at the marathon?
Local school bands and other musical groups are always welcome to play for the runners. If your group is interested in providing entertainment for the marathon, please email in advance us at .

Does the Eau Claire Marathon need volunteers?
Numerous volunteers will help with race activities within Carson Park and along the course. Learn more about the volunteer positions available.

Are there vendors at the marathon?
Refreshments and other vendors are available on pre-race and race days.
Race apparel is not sold.
